My first Tailgate party
Okay, hard to believe at 41 I had never been to a tailgate party. This is a BBQ done at the parking lot of a stadium, before the game starts. So we were to attend the Charger game, our hometown football team. GO CHARGERS! and my sweetie husband said we should have a tailgate before the game, so the kids could be part of something so traditional and so fun. And I have to admit it was certainly fun. We are Hispanic as you well know, so we had a Delicious carne asada with guacamole, tortillas, salsa and some drinks and beer. It turned out so great! I enjoyed it a lot and I can't wait for another one in the near future. The kids also enjoyed it! Thanks to Daddy for suggesting it. Fun times!

Husbands company party at Petco
Just thought I'd share some pictures of my husbands company party this past Saturday. It was held at Petco Park, which is our beautiful baseball stadium. It was so nicely arranged, we were all gathered at the actual field, they had lots of tables and buffet lines all around. Of course a bar here and there where we got some yummy drinks........Margaritas for me. They had a band playing and later a DJ, they also raffled off some really neat prices, of which we didn't win any:( After the party we left and hung out with some of Marcial's co-workers at the SIX lounge in the hotel Solmar. That was another extra hours of fun. Next time we are getting a room there! We also ended the night with a late night snack at Broken Egg Yolk, they have some really tasty food. It was a great night! I had the best of times, as always when I'm with my favorite person in the world........my Marcial.

My friend in Tucson, sounds like you are a sweet soul that can float around from one part of the states to another and adapts just as easily. My Indian friend, thank you for coming across my path. I have to admit! I'm so happy you are following, I am a big fan of Indian movies and I love the Indian culture. It's a little similar to mine, we put family in a very special rank in our lives. Thank you for following............and many blessings to all.

Not so hot today!!
Oh my, thank you God for this break in the weather. It was slightly cooler today, and I was so happy for that. I was able to get some housework done without breaking into a sweaty mess. Here in California hot days are the worst because we don't have air conditioners or swamp coolers like all my sisters and brothers have back in Arizona. We have to tough it out with fans, and sometimes a little window air conditioner in one of the rooms. I'm just so happy the hot days seem to be gone for a while. We are expecting a little cooling off because of the hurricane that's hitting Baja California. On the other hand, I hope it doesn't cause any devastation in Baja. People are so poor down there, it's sad that natural disasters tend to hit places that are poverty stricken.

Teething sucks!!
It's been back to routine for Max and I, now that his cousins are back to school. It seemed to me like he kind of noticed that they are gone during the day. He was so happy to see them after school. Teething! oh boy, what torture. He cried so much this morning, and all I could do was put some oragel and hold him till he felt better. At the moment he is happily playing with all his little rattles and cuddly teddies. Hope he stays happy! One tooth is already out but there's still the one right next to it, that's the one giving all the trouble. Other than that, he is still cute as can be!!
