Soulpancake

I've come across something really fun, and time consuming.  It's called www.soulpancake.com and it is a pretty cool place to join.  It's filled with a whole lot of different kinds of members, with a whole lot of different ideas and thoughts. So to try to put it in a simple way, you sign up, you look around, there is the collective questions button were you will be able to respond and read other peoples questions and answers to some pretty cool questions.  You can also post your own questions.  It's like a round table were you get to discuss things you wouldn't with friends and family, because of religious or political beliefs.  I'm having a great time, but it does take away some time........since I enjoy answering and posting questions.  Go over and take a look, you might enjoy it too.

Tuscan Garden in process

If many of you remember, I was working on a Tuscan garden through the summer.  Here is the result, so far.  I still have a few things I want to add to it, like a little table and two chairs.  I think they are called a bistro table.  They are made out of metal, and they are small, just for a little Sunday breakfast or coffee and bagels. I'm still waiting to find a good deal on one.  When you don't have lots of money, it's best to wait a while and a good deal is sure to come around.  By the way, thank you to my sweet son Gilbert, who did the paint work for me. I love my yellow wall, it adds so much life to that area.  I enjoy every time I walk out into my Tuscan garden.

Max is soon to be 7 mo

Hard to believe, my little cutie nephew Max is about to turn 7 months old. He is changing so much, he can now hold his bottle on his own.  He is a lot more curious about things, he stares at things and tries to grab anything within his reach.  He is still a cutie, and I am still in love with him like I've been since day one.  It's such a joy being able to watch him for my sister, he keeps me company and adds meaning to my days.  Keeps tia Patty busy yet relaxed.

It's still so hot!!

We are in the 3rd week of September and it is still awfully hot in San Diego!  I was hoping the weather would cool of some so we could get a break from all this heat.  But it seems we are actually headed for a Santana this week.  We get those hear in Southern California.  It's a few days of really hot days, sometimes with winds, but still Hot.  It's not a good thing for the area I live in because we have had some very scary fires in the past.  We are close to the beach, but east of us are the mountains and that's were the danger is.  Well, I'm getting excited because it will be my birthday next week.  I will be turning 42.  I don't mind being that age.  I've seen my children grow up........a little, they have yet a long road ahead, but so far it has been a pleasure being a mom to my 3 precious kids.  So I will now start my planning on were I would like to go eat for my birthday.  I'm thinking there is an Argentinian restaurant I've heard is really good, that is a choice.  Another one was PF Chang, which is fancy Chinese food.  I'm thinking the Argentinian food sounds good, they have the most delicious beef and some empanaditas that I love!  All I can say is that I'm thankful to God for giving me so many blessings in my life, starting with my parents, my husband and my children.  Thank You God for all you have given me.
