Hair Cut Day

Time for a hair cut! okay I did it again like so many times before. I let more than six months go by without a hair cut, and yes! I needed it so bad!! So off to the hair salon I went with my dear sister who is about to have a baby any day now. We went and had our Sisters only day at the salon. We went for a little lunch after, and a little shopping.................gotta do it, we were already there you know. so here is the new hair-do.

My Son

I love this young man, he lights up my days and fills our home with lots of laughs. He has always been a little funny man, ever since he was a little fella......always quick with the comebacks, never lacking a funny remark. More than being a funny guy, he is a great teen. He's smart as a whip, I don't know exactly why people say that, but you get the idea, the kid is SMART. He has a beautiful heart, he is caring and so so helpful, he always does what I ask without complaining. I love him very much and I wish we could have more time to have some Mommy/Gilie time. I enjoy spending time with him, more than he knows. Love this fella!! a lot!!

Saturday Morning Stroll........

Wow, I wasn't aware that we would end up walking a little more than three miles, but yes, in fact we did have a great 3-ish mile walk. I woke up feeling the need to be out in the beauty of nature. My dear gorgeous husband woke up and said he'd come along, so it made it all the better. We went to a place called Lake Murray, located here in San Diego, in the city of La Mesa. It's a very beautiful serene place, a terrific place to walk and enjoy the view. I just didn't know we would make it all the way this time. Never before had I made it all the way to the end of the walk, and it Doesn't Loop!! so you make it one way, you have to walk the same way back to get to your car. It was great though, I loved the hour and a half I spent with my favorite man, my precious husband! that I love!!! (some pics as proof, I made it to the sign!!)

My Andrew

A happy home is worth the world and nothing less. There is nothing to compare to the love and joy found in the prescence of a happy home. A place where there is peace and harmony, were everything just falls into place and flows smoothly, were there is no envy or resentments. Where there is an adorable little guy that owns my heart and all there is in it. A child so adorable that completes my life. My Andrew. God has given me this adorable child to fill my life with joy and laughter. He is a child like no other, he is a child with a heart of Gold. He's so loving to me and to all around him. Thank goodness for this adorable child.

Can't color in our Children.....

"we can't color in our children with our favorite colors" , so it says in the book "Kite Runner", and I completely agree. I wouldn't try to color them, for they are filled already with the most brilliant of colors, the colors that came from God. They each have their beauty and their charm, they each think and speak in their own way........and that's what makes them who they are. I'm a proud mother, and with all the rights that God has given me as their Mother. I love and value each and every one of their traits. My daughter is a picture of serenity and joy, her colors are vibrant yet calm. She is full of kindness and love, she is peaceful like water running through a creek, but she can be rough when called for. She stands up for her beliefs and she stands up for others, she is perfect as she is, filled with all the marvelous colors that even I couldn't color in. She is an amazing person and most of all an amazing daughter........and she's mine!! I love her.

Nature right outside my door

Such a beautiful day for this time of the year. You'd expect to see a cold gray day, or even some rain. But it's all the contrary, it's an amazingly beautiful sunny day. Temperature outside is in the high 70's. It's good enough for me, I prefer warm days to cold ones. Cold days are fine with me if I can just sit by the fire place reading a good book, but that doesn't happen too often, so I'm good with this warm day. As I sit here typing in my entry, I can hear the birds chirping right outside my front door. I see the beauty of the season as I look at the baron trees and all the golden leaves lying around on the ground, like a little blanket that will protect the grass and flowers through the winter. The sun is shinning bright and it's a great day to keep doing some housework, so talk to you later my friends.
