Husbands company party at Petco

Just thought I'd share some pictures of my husbands company party this past Saturday. It was held at Petco Park, which is our beautiful baseball stadium. It was so nicely arranged, we were all gathered at the actual field, they had lots of tables and buffet lines all around. Of course a bar here and there where we got some yummy drinks........Margaritas for me. They had a band playing and later a DJ, they also raffled off some really neat prices, of which we didn't win any:( After the party we left and hung out with some of Marcial's co-workers at the SIX lounge in the hotel Solmar. That was another extra hours of fun. Next time we are getting a room there! We also ended the night with a late night snack at Broken Egg Yolk, they have some really tasty food. It was a great night! I had the best of times, as always when I'm with my favorite person in the world........my Marcial.

My friend in Tucson, sounds like you are a sweet soul that can float around from one part of the states to another and adapts just as easily. My Indian friend, thank you for coming across my path. I have to admit! I'm so happy you are following, I am a big fan of Indian movies and I love the Indian culture. It's a little similar to mine, we put family in a very special rank in our lives. Not so hot today!!

Oh my, thank you God for this break in the weather. It was slightly cooler today, and I was so happy for that. I was able to get some housework done without breaking into a sweaty mess. Here in California hot days are the worst because we don't have air conditioners or swamp coolers like all my sisters and brothers have back in Arizona. We have to tough it out with fans, and sometimes a little window air conditioner in one of the rooms. I'm just so happy the hot days seem to be gone for a while. We are expecting a little cooling off because of the hurricane that's hitting Baja California. On the other hand, I hope it doesn't cause any devastation in Baja. People are so poor down there, it's sad that natural disasters tend to hit places that are poverty stricken.
